Banana Bread Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 small bananas or 3 large bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of Mala (or yogurt)
- 3/4 cup of oil
- 1 teaspoon of Vanilla
- 2 cups of floor
- 3/4 - 1 cup of sugar (depending on how sugary you want it to be)
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Method
- Preheat the oven
- Mash the bananas using a fork
- Add the rest of the wet ingredients to the bananas and mix
- Sift the flour with baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon powder
- Add the sugar to the flour and mix thoroughly
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients (fold in the flour)
- Pour into 2 equal sized baking tins (medium in size)
- Bake at 160 degrees centigrade for about 30 minutes, check whether they are ready using a toothpick. Return to the oven if not ready.
