Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients


  • 4 small bananas or 3 large bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of Mala (or yogurt)
  • 3/4 cup of oil
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla
  • 2 cups of floor
  • 3/4 - 1 cup of sugar (depending on how sugary you want it to be)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Method
  1. Preheat the oven
  2. Mash the bananas using a fork
  3. Add the rest of the wet ingredients to the bananas and mix
  4. Sift the flour with baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon powder
  5. Add the sugar to the flour and mix thoroughly
  6. Combine the wet and dry ingredients (fold in the flour)
  7. Pour into 2 equal sized baking tins (medium in size)
  8. Bake at 160 degrees centigrade for about 30 minutes, check whether they are ready using a toothpick. Return to the oven if not ready.
